These terms govern your use of Storienna. By using the service you agree to them. The short version: bring us what's yours, we make your book, the book is for your family.

What Storienna is

Storienna turns what you bring — an idea, a memory, a drawing, a photo — into a personalized digital picture book for one child. We draft with modern AI tools, and every book arrives in your library for you to read first. Printed books are not available at launch.

What you bring

You keep ownership of everything you upload. You give us permission to use it for one purpose: writing, illustrating, and (if you order one) printing your book. Only upload what is yours to share — your own photos, your family's drawings, stories you have the right to tell.

Your books

The finished book is made for your family and is yours to read, keep, print, and gift for personal use. It stays in your library so you can come back to it.

Reading your book

Read the digital book before sharing it with your child. A new story or full creative rewrite uses a new book right. A terminal technical generation failure restores the original right; if its expiry passed during generation, a replacement right is available for seven days. Contact us about issues with a delivered book.

Digital plans and book rights

Where available, Starter includes one complete book once, without a payment card. Family includes five new books per month for the whole account. Monthly and annual prices and the total charge are shown on the plans page and confirmed before payment. An annual subscription supplies five rights each month, not sixty rights immediately.

Family subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel renewal through your account's payment management page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid term; annual monthly allocations continue through that term. Each Family right expires at the end of the following allocation period, so up to ten Family rights may be available. Remaining rights keep their displayed expiry when renewal is canceled. Separately purchased three-book top-ups do not expire.

Finished books and PDF access remain after subscription cancellation. Rereading does not use rights. Deleting a completed book does not restore its used right. Deleting your account is different: it cancels billing and removes your library. If payment management is temporarily unavailable, account deletion waits rather than leaving an ongoing subscription behind.

For a first-subscription satisfaction refund, contact hello@storienna.com within seven days of the first subscription payment, with no more than one paid book used. This is a one-time commercial offer; mandatory consumer rights are unaffected. Full refunds remove unused and future rights from that payment, not completed books. A limited free pilot, if offered to your account, is shown separately and is not a promise of perpetual monthly free books.

Fair use of the service

Don't use Storienna to create content that is unlawful, harmful to children, or that infringes someone else's rights. We may decline to produce a book that violates this.

Liability

Storienna is provided as described, without warranties beyond those required by law. To the extent the law allows, our liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the book concerned.

Changes

If these terms change in a way that matters, we will say so here and update the date above.
